Best suited to
road operations handling multiple container lengths and positions
How it differs
Difference from the fixed model: broader box compatibility with more tare weight, operating steps and maintenance; Difference from the sliding-bogie model: primarily changes frame length rather than moving the axle group to optimise axle loads
Reference specification
Pre-inquiry reference values taken from our standard sample of this product. A figure shown as a range moves with the configuration named beside it. Your contractual figures are the ones on the drawing and bill of materials issued after inquiry.

Buildable configurations
What can be specified on this product, and what each choice changes. Combinations are confirmed by engineering against your axle-load limits and destination regulations before they are quoted.
Chassis Profile
Gooseneck
Gooseneck profile lowers tunnel-equipped high-cube containers while retaining telescopic versatility
Best for: mixed operations including 40/45 ft high cubes
If omitted: a straight telescopic frame is simpler and suits non-tunnel boxes, but offers less height reduction.
Low-profile Gooseneck
Lower gooseneck and frame section further reduce container top height
Best for: strict route-clearance limits and high-cube boxes
If omitted: a standard gooseneck offers more ground clearance and structural depth, but a slightly higher loaded profile.
On our sample Reference Tare Weight 5,130–5,450 kg
Changes: Reference Tare Weight, Extension Arrangement, Fifth-wheel Height
Confirmed at inquiry: Confirm duty, loads, dimensions, road/site conditions and destination requirements
Extension Arrangement
Rear Extension
Rear-only extension changes chassis length with the fewest mechanisms and operating points
Best for: relatively stable container mixes handled mainly by rear length adjustment
If omitted: centre or front extensions broaden box-position and load-distribution capability, with more tare weight and complexity.
Centre & Rear Extension
Centre and rear extensions jointly change container position, wheelbase and rear length
Best for: mixed 20/40/45 ft fleets and layouts needing better fifth-wheel load
If omitted: rear-only extension is simpler, but offers fewer container positions and less load-distribution flexibility.
Front, Centre & Rear Extension
Front, centre and rear extensions provide the broadest combination of box lengths, positions and axle loads
Best for: highly variable mixed-container fleets
If omitted: fewer extension points reduce weight, cost and operating error, but narrow compatibility.
On our sample Maximum Extension 2,900–4,595 mm
Changes: Maximum Extension, Extension Arrangement, Reference Tare Weight
Confirmed at inquiry: Provide cargo dimensions, point loads, extension cases, turning radius and route envelope
Specifying for your region
The same product is built differently for different markets. These are the running-gear and compliance points that decide the build, by destination.

What you can verify before ordering
The plant is ours
Ask for a live walk-through of the welding line, the blasting chamber and the paint booth on the day you call. A trading company cannot do this on request.
Engineers answer, not a sales desk
Configuration questions are answered by the engineering team. If an answer needs a calculation, you get the calculation.
Inspection records match the unit
Final vehicle or assembly inspection is recorded against the unit identification, so the report can be matched to the product that arrives.
Drawings are kept on file
The approved general arrangement drawing is archived against your chassis number for the life of the unit, which is what makes a spare part orderable years later.
Export paperwork is in house
Invoice, origin certificate, chassis number list and test certificates are issued by our own export desk, so a correction takes hours rather than a week.
Repeat batches stay identical
A follow-on order is built from the drawing you already approved, so parts interchange across your fleet instead of nearly fitting.
Other variants in this category
Same platform, different body or duty. Worth comparing before you settle on one.
Send your drawing or your load case
A sales engineer confirms the specification for this product against your route, axle-load limits and destination regulations, then returns a drawing and a delivered price.
